It’s hard to not like a trend as comfortable and fun as the Mom Jean. I spent ages looking through vintage shops to find the perfect straight leg, oversized pair of jeans with no luck. It was only the beginning of this year that I stumbled across the pair shown here in Country Road, threw my budget to the wind and made sure they came home with me. They have now become a staple in my wardrobe, and I love to mix and match them for a different vibe each time. While I’ve gone for a ‘dressier’ outfit in this post, my favourite combination has to be an oversized sweatshirt paired with oversized jeans and oversized sneakers (The tip is just to put on every oversized item you own). Not the trendiest look I’ve ever put together but it’s for sure my most comfortable/lazy look 😄

I wish I could say I had a set formula as to how I pair an outfit together, but by looking at this outfit I have to say, I really just play around and see what comes together. When I bought this backless blouse from Zara, I hadn’t pictured wearing it as I have here. I had seen myself wearing it for maybe a night out or to the beach even, not as shown here which is more of a mixture between the two. My obsession with padded headbands was what brought this outfit to life because pink + pink = yes!
That’s a stereotypical and ‘style-less’ way of thinking but there you go.
In previous posts I have showcased these Adidas sneakers which I continue to get questions about, understandably, they are really popular right now. These are the Kylie Jenner range and are known as the Falcon sneakers. Other that, I think all the other items have popped up here before, I’m just showing a different side to them.

On a different note, I actually shot this look at the beginning of December at the Purple Rayn Boutique Hotel when it was 7000 degrees and both Tegan and I were more than ready to be on holiday. I’m so delayed in getting content out at the moment but I’m aiming to play catch up in the next month or two. I also have a much awaited and much needed little holiday coming up in March so check out my Instagram to see what I get up to.
