Levi’s® is a blank canvas for people to express their personalities in. It fits so many people, and it fits them in different ways. It takes on the personality of the wearer. – Jonathan Cheung, Head of Levi’s® Global Design.
Another suitable title for this post would be; ‘Laid-back in Levi’s®’, because as a whole that is what the Levi’s® brand stands for. Comfort is key and that is the first thing that always comes to mind when dressing in Levi’s®. I put together a super casual street style look combining some of the staple pieces in my wardrobe right now as well as my latest addition, the classic Levi’s® tee. Introducing – the ORANGE TAB COLLECTION. Remastered for denim lovers, the Orange Tab is the updated uniform for those who embrace a youthful, free spirit
Keeping with the surfacing trends we see all around us, Levi’s® welcomes us back to basics with this 60’s style collection. This vintage-inspired design consists of; the mini skirt, dungarees, a cropped version of the 505C jeans and logo tee. Logo tee’s are the biggest craze right now with everyone from designer names to smaller start-up brands joining in, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this old-school classic tee which I paired with a modern-day chic trucker jacket. You can’t pull off 60’s style without some epic shades to seal the deal, as featured here some timeless aviators with clear lenses.
I can’t believe I haven’t showcased my favourite boots, my Timberlands, on the blog as of yet. I’ve had them for just under a year now and still wear them as often now as when I first bought them. A rare activity for me, as I grow bored of pieces very quickly and move onto a new purchase or item on my wish-list. They are so comfortable and casual and really do mesh well with most outfits. A perfect pairing especially for my vintage-inspired street style look shown here. Besides their aesthetic appeal it does help that they are actually functional as well. The classic Timberland boot is waterproof and full of traction – sure to see you through any tough weather conditions you face. They are a rather pricey buy in comparison to some of your other less known names in footwear, however you get what you pay for with Timberlands and I can assure you it will be a boot worn for many winters to come.
