It’s been over a month now since I started using Environ’s new Focus Care™ Youth+ range, as well as the Focus Care Moisture+ range and I thought it due time I gave my opinion on them. I don’t do nearly enough review’s on my blog, which is strange considering I seem to have something to say about everything, but if you’re interested in this new range from Environ or are looking to dabble in new skin care products – keep reading.
The Environ Focus Care Youth+ Revival Masque (R1 020)
You all know how much I love a good face masque so when this item landed on my desk I was so excited to try it out. Environ’s Focus Care+ Youth range focuses on younger skin and the prevention of wrinkles, fine lines and the skin’s overall look and feel (there is something about having fresh, plump skin that we all want when we get to our 50s, am I right?). This product has been formulated with three powerful ingredients to improve the skin’s overall look and increase future resilience. Lactic Acid, Asiatic Acid and Mandelic Acid work together to refine the skin’s texture and tone, leaving it looking healthier and more youthful.
From the moment I applied it I could instantly feel it getting to work, a tingling sensation and tightening of the skin is a good sign in my books. Only highly concentrated products that are really powerful have an instant effect/feeling on your skin – in my experience thus far at least. Now I don’t have an amazing success story to share about how my skin has transformed over night, that’s not the case. For a product like this I feel that results will most likely be visible in weeks to come, long-term results should be the goal when it comes to anti-ageing products. I did find it rejuvenating and refreshing after immediate use and my skin was visibly plumper, the closest thing to a ‘salon facial’ feeling in a bottle that I have had.
The masque should be introduced gradually, starting with once or twice a week. If your skin allows, it can eventually be used daily.
Focus Care Moisture+ Vita Antioxidant Hydrating Oil Capsules (R730)
The Environ Focus Care Moisture+ range focuses on hydrating and nourishing dehydrated skin. Coming off of the back of winter, this product is just what I needed. The Environ Focus Care Moisture+ Hydrating Oil Capsules deliver a concentrated burst of hydration, while a blend of retinol (note, a blend of retinol. If you do decide to purchase this don’t think you can use this in place of a retinol serum) and antioxidants work to protect the skin against the damaging effects of free radicals. Each application is in its own little capsule to ensure that the oil is in optimum condition for application. Just twist off the tip or cut it off and apply it generously all over your face then rub it in and feel the magic.
Now I know that not everyone is a fan of capsule packaging, but I personally enjoy it. Especially for a product as concentrated as this I find it helpful to know exactly how much I should be using on my skin per use. And can I just say that applying this to my skin after a long, tiring day was the most delicious thing! It felt like drinking a cold glass of water when you’re dying of thirst – except for my skin. Does that make sense? How about, it was like the facial equivalent of applying lip balm – an instant soother. That better? I also love that the oil absorbs quickly into your skin and doesn’t leave residue on my pillow, my skin can still breath after having applied it. I could go on and on about how divine this product is but I’ll sum it up with this.
Liquid silk in a capsule.
The oil capsules should be applied nightly at the end of your skin care routine. Both of these products, and other Environ products from this range, are available from professional skin care centres and popular salons.
If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with me and ask away. I’ve tried to keep this short and detailed, versus rambling on and including useless info you guys wouldn’t really want to hear, but hopefully I haven’t left out anything valuable in the process.
Hey there 🙂
Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what
theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
