I haven’t got around to doing a write-up on the big move to The Mother City as of yet as I promised, in fact I’ve been bed ridden for the past three days and am only now starting to recover, but I’ve made a start. I’ve done my first outfit look on the streets of Cape Town! While by no means hot, the sun was out and the city was alive with the hustle and bustle of everyone going about their business. With so many new exciting locations to choose from I had a lot of fun getting acquainted with the city. I met with lifestyle photographer Radiefa Peters to document one or two trendy looks I am loving for this season’s chilly weather.
I love a good sleeveless coat – elegant, stylish and so simple. I have one or two very similar but this specific one is two sizes too big for me, which may show in the photo’s. What can I say, they didn’t have my size left and I had to have it! So I compromised for more of an oversized looking coat. It still worked for me and the coat keeps me really warm – as warm as a coat with no sleeves can get at least.
The white blouse I’m wearing is a pretty standard blouse, very tailored and classic looking. Instead of a pull over or polo neck jersey, it’s a great way to dress up a casual outfit.
These lavish beauty’s hanging on my ears are from the online store Earthling and Moon and I quite frankly can’t get enough of them. They are a real statement piece and gave my look the glam it needed. Be warned, they are as heavy as they look!
Colour blocking is done right in this Adralema bag. There’s nothing that I don’t love about this bag, which was a gift from the amazing team at Spree, they know my taste perfectly. It’s from a new range of winter styles out at Call-it-Spring now, make sure you check them out (see my last post for an alternative option from this range).
