Pearl clips, tight skinny jeans and big puffy sleeves… It feels like we’ve done this before. What can I say, I like what I like. Why stop a good thing?
This time I’m featuring my new (newish – these photos were taken months ago) sliders from local brand Sweetpeas Handmade and my latest trend obsession, the tulle puffy sleeve. It’s so exaggerated and so 90s – I can’t wait to stock up on more similar items.
I’m currently rewatching old Sex and the City episodes for the hundredth time and I can’t help but notice how many of the 90s trends have reappeared this year. As mentioned, the tulle puffy sleeves, the big padded headbands, scrunchies, block heels etc. I love it all, especially on one of my fashion faves Carrie Bradshaw. Tip: If you’re looking for fashion inspiration or different ways to wear a trend, I’d recommend giving SATC a watch. It’s an oldie but forever a goodie.
This specific blue blouse featured here is quite a popular piece among the online blogger community. After having bought this Zara gem I couldn’t help but notice it appearing all over my timeline – on some of my favourite trendsetters too. It’s safe to say I love it that much more now.
Side note: Does anyone else notice how every few months there is that one Zara item that everyone has and everyone loves? It seems to do it’s rounds on different girls throughout the world and seems to keep being restocked, literally months later it’s still in the store. You’re a real fashion gal if what I’m saying rings true to you. I could mention quite a few examples but I’d love to hear from you, what comes to mind?

Thank you to those of you who’ve been so sweet and loyal in reading my blog all this time, especially when I’m churning out content at the rate of the earth orbiting the sun. However, I’m still here and I plan to keep blogging long into the future, it just might be in intermittent stages for now.
