There seems to be a misconception that Spring time means florals, pastel colors and sun hats. On the one hand, it totally does. But it is not limited to only that. I am definitely not the first person to make this statement but in case you didn’t know, black never goes out of style. I paired this all black look with a bright pop of yellow and red lips for the perfect ‘girl on the go’ vibe. After all, glam is in no matter what the season.
I felt beyond guilty purchasing these frill jeans as my go-to shop for jeans is always Topshop – always. But for R299 I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get this adorable pair from The Fix. They’re high-waisted as well which makes them even more comfortable and on trend.
These earrings are making another appearance on my page because, I mean, look at them. #EarringGoals. Large, in charge and a statement item if I ever saw one. If you’ve been following my blog for a while now you might have noticed I’ve been on a bit of a jewellery strike this year. Not intentionally, I’m just so fed up with costume jewellery and the lack of longevity of it. I’ve been saying this for a while now but I’m going to invest in a few expensive pieces (like my watch which is permanently attached to my arm) which will last as long as I want them to. Ain’t nobody got time for cheap jewellery anymore.
The perfectionist in me died a little bit when I was uploading these images (more so than usual) as my blouse is super super crinkled here. If you are reading this now it means I resisted the urge to scrap the whole shoot altogether and I managed to post this regardless. Unfortunately and fortunately the fabric is like butter, it feels amazing on you and is so comfortable, but because of its lightweight soft texture it crinkles with just about any movement. These creases were just from getting in my car and driving to the location. I’m hoping I can get away with this, as if it was meant to look this way. You know, messy chic. But if not, I’m just keeping it real.
If you’re wanting a more casual look swap out the black peep toe heels for some platform sneakers, tie back your hair and add a trendy neck scarf. I love outfits that can carry you for day to-night or vice versa but personally I love a little glam and I think you can pull this outfit off at any occasion.

For those of you coming across my page for the first time or those who may be unfamiliar with what blogging is; this is basically my little space that I share my day-to-day outfits and the way in which I style clothes. Although my posts have been very ‘fashion focused’ as of late, I usually share everything from hair and beauty to my own personal life stories or anything else I think my readers might be interested in. I have so much on hand waiting to share with you all very soon, it’s on the way I promise! All in all I’ve received an amazing response so far from everyone regarding this platform, but there are a few people who seem to get confused. I’m a blogger, not a wannabe model 😉
As always, thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I love hearing from you all so feel free to let me know your thoughts on this look and if there is anything else you would like to see from me.
